A small band of Japanese soldiers are fighting nearby and a British captain asks Mizushima if he can convince them to surrender and save their lives. In the aftermath, Mizushima disguises himself as a Buddhist monk and embarks on a journey to promote peace whilst also burying the dead Japanese soldiers he encounters as he travels.
